Authenticity Is Not Legitimacy: The Rise of Trusted Infrastructure Phishing
A deep technical and strategic analysis of System Notification Abuse — how threat actors are weaponizing Microsoft's own infrastructure to send phishing emails that pass every authentication check. The central case study: 2,000 malicious messages across 250+ abused Microsoft 365 tenants, sent from msonlineservicesteam@microsoftonline.com with valid SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. This is not spoofing. This is infrastructure coercion.

Final Post: A Strategic Evolution
This is my last manually written post on this blog. After years of grinding out long-form technical deep dives the old-fashioned way, I’ve decided it’s time to fully shift gears. I’m now moving completely to AI-powered content generation and autonomous tooling systems. In highly technical fields like security research, threat intelligence, and detailed analysis, it’s not just smart to leverage AI — it’s borderline irrational not to. The speed, depth, consistency, and sheer scale you can achieve with today’s AI tools blow away what any single person can realistically sustain by hand. The results are just better. It’s actually insane when I think about how there was a time I was grinding out bash scripts by hand even though AI code generation already existed. I found it early — pissed my SO off with terrible AI-generated poems, generated horrible images with limbs in all the wrong places. That was just two years ago. And here we are. This shift isn’t about giving up creativity or original thinking. It’s about amplifying them with the best tools available. I’ll keep delivering high-quality, technically rigorous work — but now through smarter, automated pipelines that let me move faster, reach further, and explore more ground. That said, I still have a deep admiration for the uniquely human spark in creative arts — whether it’s fiction writing, music composition, visual arts, poetry, or any other expressive form. There’s something profoundly special and irreplaceable about the emotional depth, imagination, and personal soul that talented artists pour into those mediums. Thank you to everyone who’s read, shared, and engaged with the stuff I’ve posted here over the years. The archive isn’t going anywhere. New material will keep coming, just through much more autonomous and powerful channels from here on out. Onward. — The end of the manual era. The beginning of the autonomous one.
